Anyone Every try the 944MAXS2 (Russel's Chip) for the S2?
Anyone try the MAXHPKIT chip for the 944S2? Is it really worth the money or am I better off sticking with the stock chip? (It seems kinda pricey for $250.00.)

I have a 1990 944s2 cab with 14,000 miles. In 1995 i purchased a chip from Auto Authority. the Chip claims to give 18% more throttle response, torque and hp. I notice improved performance immediately. Power band kicked in around 2,200 rpm instead of 3k. top end limited was raised 500rpm. I beleaved i paid around 500.00 back then. The chip was easy to install. Would like specks on the chip you are considering
