Default Japanese Imports 944S2

As I search for and silently hoping I don't find one (so my wallet will be healthier), I come across Japanese imports to North America. They are usually lower milage and Euro specs. I'm guessing Carfax or the North American reports are no use?

What do you think about these cars?

I've got a japanese 951...its getting harder to find good ones these days. They're still over there, but not as cheap as they were a few years back.

I had a Japanese S2 as my first 944. Low mileage, ran great, no dash cracks. Ever since selling that gem, I haven't seen one ever since.
