Default Custom shifter **** on stock lever and stock boot?

I want to put a custom shifter in my 1985/2 944 on my stock lever with stock boot, but not sure how. The site I'm looking into getting it from is www.9xauto.com. I asked this question there and they directed me here. The **** is listed in www.9xauto.com/944a.htm under the interior tab in the 944/951/968 Custom Shifter section, product number 101590. Anyone know how I can put this shifter on the stock lever?

I would assume that the shifter **** has a standard round hole. Momo makes an adapter to fit their ***** on the 944 style shifter rod. I've seen these listed in lots of the parts sites. Any that sell Momo stuff should carry this part. It is around $15. I think 9x sells a coverted shifter that has this piece on it and has been shortened 1". If you have the boot that fits over the **** on your car now, I doubt that it will work with the custom ****. You would have to buy an aftermarket one like the Momo. It is pretty easy to change the shifter (30min job tops). Not sure how the adapter installs. The shifter that is converted that I saw had it drilled and riveted on.
