'83 Supplementary Air Valve
This valve is powered up when the fuel pump is running. As I understand it, it has a bi-metallic strip that closes the valve as the strip heats up over time. It increases the air flow into the manifold on initial startup.
When the engine ran, 18 months ago, it idled fast when cold, and got faster as it warmed up.
I've just put 12V on this thing (on the bench) for 20 minutes, and it still allows air to flow freely. Is this thing stuffed? Or can it be adjusted?
