I have a 1983 944 that will not start unless you squirt a little fuel into the intake. Then she fires right up and runs fine, drives fine, and everything till you shut her off and try to start up again. Can this be anything besides the DME relay or is it definately the DME relay? I just put a used one in there not very long ago.

 

I had that problem with my early 85 and after I put in a different ecu it worked fine. I tried DME and it was not that. Then I tried tracking down fuel issues, nothing. Changed ecu and yea it worked.
