I saw that the top lip of the rear hatch where the metal trim runs along the edge of the glass is seperated. I thought about swapping hatches with my parts car but it is doing the same thing.

Does anyone know how to remove the metal trim to reshape it to fit correctly?

I would probably follow the clarks garage instructions mostly, especially about the adhesives, although I have never done this myself, I am about to. Hope this helps. Good luck.
