Thanks guys, I take it that the standard 225-50- 16 tyres will not fit the wider rims ? Any spacers required ?

which 993 rims are you using ?
and you may need a 1/4 spacer in the front -
a generic type from any auto parts store will work - has lots of holes and can be used for many applications -
the front hub grease caps do not fit in to the recess in the back of the front wheel as I remember
do you have a pix of the wheel you're goung to use ?

You now have me confused The wheels are on Aus. ebay item 140358282602
Part no quoted is 99336200400 and these are listed as 993 16"
Did the 993 have an option with the 16" or 17"

OK
I looked at the auction -
and I checked the offset for you
you will need a 6 mm spacer in the rear for them to clear the lower shock bolt
and in the front the grease cap should be ok for clearance
I hope this helps

S2 has the later offset and should bolt up fine if the rims are off a 993 the real question is does he have the M030 option on his S2...

Default 7.5 X18 ET 50 and 10X18 ET 65

Porsche Turbo Twist 993 wheels 7.5 front and 10 rear.

Fit like a glove with no modification or spacers needed on an S2
