Install ABS brakes on Porsche 944 -88
Hi.
I was thinking about if it is possible to install ABS brake system on a Porsche 944 -88.
Maybe i can use a ABS system from a S2 or something like that. Do anyone know something about this? Does it fit?
Answers would be helpful
PS i am from Sweden so that's why i can't spell very good

I would never attempt it. You need different hubs, the sensors in the hubs, all the wiring, the abs pump, the abs brain, all of the convoluted extra brake lines that go with the system...and I think the master cylinder is different.
You'd be better off finding a roller with ABS and putting the rest of your car over on it.

I have an 87 944S with ABS and I don't think the m/cylinder is different or the brake lines. The early ABS systems were crude by todays standards.
Hubs, brain and pump are needed for sure.
