Air/oil separator problem 944/86
I suddenly had big clouds of white smoke that worried me mightily. It turned out that oil is being sucked into the inlet between the air door and the throttle body from the pipe that originates at the oil-air separator attached to the filler neck.
Do I need a new one? Can I clean out the old one? and...
How on earth is SO MUCH oil being sucked into the inlet? It is not over-filled so I'm at a loss as to why such a large puddle of oil can accumulate in just a few minutes.
