1990 944S2 Cab hard start problem
Please help me diagnose my problem;
Car cranks over fine but does not fire like it should.
After trying one time to start (cranking for a few seconds) I push gas pedal all the way to the floor. Then I crank it over for a few seconds and it starts but I have to keep the rpms up or it will stall. Strong smell of gas from engine compartment right after starting. Runs great after it starts.
Suggetions on where to start the diagnoses or if someone has experienced this problem let me know the solution.
1990 944S2 Cabriolet, 127,000 miles.
