Default Heat Constantly Blowing No Matter What

Hello Forum!

I have a new issue that came up a few days ago while driving my 944S (1987) Porsche.

I noticed that when driving (no matter what the climate controls are set to) I get heat from the AC unit. The fan does work and I can still turn the fan up and down however residual heat comes out of the vents.

If I turn the fan on high TONS of heat comes out.

If I turn the car engine off yet keep the key in the "on" position (that position halfway on where the engine stops but I still get power) then the heat stops and room temperature air comes out.

If I start the engine the heat starts up again to heat the air coming out of the fan.

Anyone have any idea or clue about what is going on? What I can check? Anything to help me with whatever I need to fix it?

Thank you in advance for any help!

Default Solved!

I tried the suggestion and I found that a point in the Y shaped hose connector for the "heat pressure" was disocnnected. I reconnected it and now everything is fine!

Thank you for all the help!
