Looking for AC Vacuum Solenoid Replacement!!!
HELP!
I have been trying to locate a replacement vacuum solenoid for the AC in my '88 944 NA. I do not know the part number, but it is the one visible along the passenger-side of the console under the dash. Symptom is heat kicks in when AC is on. I know it is the solenoid as it clicks and you can see the heater valve in the engine compartment open and close with the clicking. Using a MightyVac I can pull the valve shut and everything is fine.
I know there are many other things people point to, but I know this is the cause of my misery. I have just had a heck of a time trying to find a fitting replacement anywhere. Help!
