944 Instruments not working
Hi
My instruments on my 1986 944 Lux have all gone dead, although every so often they jump into life and die again. I have been through the previous threads and checked the fuse (ok), grounds (ok) connection to the back of the cluster (also ok). When they do come to life I can hear clicking sound from around the glovebox (right hand drive car).
Any further ideas will be gretly received.
Thanks
Parm

Maybe check the X/ignition on relay?? Clicking sounds are usually relays working good. Don't know of one for your car in the glove area.?? Radio Relay is often near the middle of the center console under the blower motor but this should not effect gauges. Maybe also check the glovebox light connections typically grey/Green-power and brown-ground.
