Intermittent Fuel Pump Groan
I recently picked up a '90 S2, it will emit a "groaning" noise from the fuel pump area somedays but not others.
when it does groan it does it below 2k rpm , most noticable when I'm pulling away from a stop, once over 2.5k ish it goes away.
when it does do it it will do it every time I pull away from a stop during that drive.
When it doesn't do it, it won't do it duration of the drive.
I'm leaning towards the FPR or the dampner, could there be something else causeing it to behave this way?
TIA

looks like it was the vacuum line on the FPR, it wasn't seated all the way.
