Hi all,
Just picked up an 84 944 (n/a) for FREE from a buddie of mine.
So I am new to the Porsche scene so please cut me some slack with my stupid questions OK .
The only problem with the car was it needed a wax job BADLY and the fan was not comming on so he parked it a year ago after just putting $4700 worth of work into it. I got it home, put in a fuse and now it all works fine. It's in a reputable Porsche shop right now getting it all checked out and doing the water pump, T-Stat and checking out the belt, etc.... The belts had been changed only about 500 miles ago. Here are some pics of my free toy after two days of buffing and waxing.

Not bad for a free car huh? everything works except for the odometer. It will be a weekend toy.
I am used to HUGE power so it will be a change for sure. But with gas the way it is, Oh well.....
I just sold my other toy, a 68 Camaro RS/SS big block 4-Speed BRUTE!!!!!!
Here are pics if it.... I miss it already

We should all have friends who give us cars huh?

Not a bad looking car. Buy your friend a beer, and dont let him drive the car..or he will want it back.
