At a glance, it should have BIG brakes in the front and rear. It should have adjustable Koni coilovers in the front (yellow). The M030 cars had special sport seats with very large latereral support bolsters, and only had electrical adjustment to raise and lower the front and rear of the seat. The seat-back and leg room adjustments are manual.
In addition, there is a build sticker inside the rear boot area, behind the carpet, below the latch for the rear hatch. If the car was built with it, it will show the M030 option code in the list of options.

M030 cars would have 030 in the option list, not M030. Rear brakes were the same as non-M030. Sport seats are another option and not part of the package.

The rare S2s featuring M030 have the same "Design 90" wheels (7.5"x16" ET65 front, 9"x16" ET52.3 rear) as the '90 & '91 944 turbo models.
These wheels are the same as those of the '90 & '91 928 S4/GT but for some reason they have different part numbers.
Regular S2s have no adjustable suspension, only M474 ('89 only) and M030 S2s have.

Only 030 cars have the height adjustable front struts.
The reason the 928 wheels have a different part# because they have a provision for an air pressure monitor.
On the '90 and '91 models 030 includes bigger brakes.

The M030 package includes many unique parts: front calipers & rotors, front brake lines, front A-arms and bushings, front Koni height adjustable struts, front upper strut bushings, rear Koni shocks, stiffer 25.5 mm torsion bars, wider wheels and tires, etc.
It its day it was a good package, especially for the stock autox racer. Today however, you can get better performance using other parts, such as sway bars from the 968 M030, brakes from the 993 TT and various combinations of struts, shocks or coilovers, spherical bearing suspension components, etc.
M030 was only available on the '90 and '91 MYs.
