Question Can't find the right size oil pan gasket

I'm a new member and I recently bought my first porsche in May05, its a n/a 944 1988 5 speed. I bought it from the original owner and its got 68K miles on it. When I changed the oil I used a FRAM filter and MOBIL1 synthetic 20-50 but was unable to find a gasket that would fit the oil pan. I searched 4 different auto stores but was forced to use the old gasket that came with the car.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to find an appropriate oil pan gasket for this car? And also if you have any suggestions on a better filter or oil to use I am all ears.
thanks
