944S chip
Hi
I have found chips for ECU with bosch number 0.261.200.080. Problem is that my ECU has bosch number 0.261.200.187 (look picture)
One seller said that my ECU code refers to audi ?!?!?!
I have 1988 944S 2.5L 16V 140kW euro model.
I would like to know is there somebody that sells chips for my car or not?
If they do then what is the cost?
Should i do it or it is just a waist of money?
I would be also very happy to hear other 944S owners opinions and experience!!!

you're in luck, i have my ECU out of the car right now. this is for a US spec car.
0 261 200 080
part # 944.618.124.00
i have a weltmeister chip in mine. it barely adds any noticeable power up top, but at least it increases the redline by 400 rpm, which is helpful in autocrossing or on the track.

Does somebody have information about chips for 1988 944S with my ECU code. I have searched the net and asked around but didn't get answers. Would 1987 chip work in my car? Can somebody who knows Bosch ECU s well comment?
