Yes, we are using vband clamps .....actually special made for us by an aerospace manufacture.
We even have Titanium srping loaded ones for the higher temp areas near the turbo and headers.
One of the cool features we are building in to our systems is...... you can run an OBII compliant cat in the test pipe for time when you need to, then for the track, simply unclip 2 V-band clamps (no tools needed) and replace the cat with a straight pipe.
The longest thing about this process is jacking up your car!
I think you will be very pleased with our design and the new features we have come up with!
More info to follow shortly!
Cheers,
Paul

Then you can go for just our straight pipe option.
Here is a Carbon/Kevlar hood (996) we will be offering to give you an idea of the build quality and look........... I will post some more parts soon as they come back from production.
Also here are the colors and different looks we will be offering.
Cheers,
Paul R

No, it is not just the holes. The angle of the door is different where the base attaches, so the mirror won't be level, even if you manage to hobnob it together to bolt onto the door.

If I may, I'd like to suggest that while you are working up the mold/specs for the CF hoods, condsider having recessed holes for the hood pins like the factory 951 cup cars. That will make your product more desirable than the CF 944 hoods that are already available.

They aren't. If you took the time to read my many pasts posts to you specifically on this subject, I expressly told you that you need the 968 bases. The 911RSA/965 parts are the inner guts and the mirror housing. The bases are different.

You just told me you put me on ignore, were you lying? You just hurt my feelings! lol
So, to answer the question, the 911 mirrors do in fact fit with the 968 bases. So you may be able to take advantage of the replicas with a cheap 968 base attached, but no one has done it yet...
