After only a few days back on the road the '89 has developed a problem in the factory alarm system. It started enabling itself last Friday night when we were driving around and would go off when we got out of the car occasionally. I thought a work around had been found when I realized the driver's side door was locking itself when you closed the door and sometimes while just driving so I pulled the fuse for the centralized locking system. Been fine for a couple of days but tonight it would not start until (of all things) my wife decided to try and start it again while waiting for the tow truck . She had the driver's door open and the engine started right up .... hm . She shut it off while calling AAA to cancel the tow and it would not start again until she opened the driver's door ... ? very interesting Watson ...... Any ideas would be appreciated . The car had been on jack stands in the driveway for a couple of months and it has been unusually moist for central Cal this fall .
