Drivetrain problems
Whats up guys, got my 83 944 not too long ago and has been a great car. Now the other day coming off the interstate, i went to down shift, and it felt unusually difficult, got close to my house, and nearly unable to shift without shutting off the car. The clutch is 5 or so years old (from what im told), i beleive a failed disc/pressure plate may be the culprit, ive already bled the system, and cant really think of much else to do, since this beeing the 1st porsche ive ever owned.

sounds like the symptom I had when the clutch in my red S2 went. you probably have a chunk of the rubber center jamming things up.
