Hi, first post on Rennlist.
I recently bought a 1983 Porsche 944 as a project car, and it's been giving me a little bit of strife. Me and my father have taken most of the engine apart, pulled the pistons out, and got the rings off, cause they were all cruddy and just entirely ruined. I've recently bought some new 100mm rings for it and tried fitting them, but they seemed to have been too small. We had figured that the cylinders had been previously honed, and are now looking for 100.5mm piston rings. Problem is, I can't seem to find them anywhere. Does anyone know where I can find/shop for some 100.5mm piston rings?
