Default Motor mounts

So going from the OEM type mounts to an aftermarket type less compliant mount is it very noticeable? For a daily driver would it be to harsh?

More harshness with no benefit.

And, as an added benefit, you will get to do it again in the not too distant future.

@Gage and @931guru : Is that the case with the Rennline mounts, as well? Those are some nice looking pieces of hardware but I have no experience with them. Link: https://www.rennline.com/rennline-tu...ounts-sku-m64/

Cheers

It is especially the case with the Rennline mounts. I think these may have been designed by Escher. There is another thread that has some discussion about them but they appear to me to be completely lacking any isolation i.e. the center bolt is in direct contact with both the top and bottom mounting plates. They do look nice but a complete waste of billet aluminum imop.

The factory turbo motor mounts are superior to everything else.

DO NOT **** around with anything aftermarket…. Even the ones that 944 online says are “OK”. Especially not those redline things. Go OE all the way to the bank unless you don’t care about the car’s performance or don’t keeping it for awhile.
