Default 1986 944 na rear wheels

Hi everyone,

I recently purchased a 1986 Porsche 944 na and I'm not sure if the wheels are the stock width. I will link a pic in this post. The rear wheels look extremely deep into the wells like previous owner was running 944 fronts all around or he had 924 wheels on it. I'm new to 944s and I'm not familiar with any of the wheel sizes and so on. They are phone dials by the way. I just wanted to get an opinion on them and possibly figure out where I can get wider aftermarket wheels for a decent price.

Those look like the original wheels. They would be 15x7 at all four corners.

Those are late offset wheels on an early offset car. For a stock fitment you would need 15 x 7 ET 23.3 part #951.362.104.00.

have a set of 15x7 phone dials for sale. The tires are Toyo RA-1's. The age is 8+ years and I can remove to save shipping costs. The price for 4 are $500 plus handling and shipping costs. The wheels are in Excellent condition and a perfect fit for your 1986 Porsche 944

ET is 23.3

Well thank you all for the information so far. If I buy wheels I'm probably not going to be looking for new phone dials I'll probably be looking for fuchs or similar styled aftermarket ones.

My offer makes good sense because the phone dials are the original offer on the 944, easy to clean and sharp. The price is right

I added a set of 28mm hub-centric H&R spacers to my (23.3 offset) rears. Fills out the rear well properly, IMO. And, a bit more cost-effective than buying staggered tires & wheels.

Best of luck. Congrats on the new baby.
