Purchased a 1985/2 944. It can rough idle. has a misfire and doesn’t support the idle very well. Fuel tank was drained and nee gas was in it. Pulled the fuel rail off and gas spilled everywhere. Yes i’m a dumb *** but now i know fuel is getting to the rail well. Where do i go from here? Clean injectors? Is the fuel pump barely working? DME issue? Fuel regulator?

Check your fuel pressure with a fuel pressure gauge. Compare the pressure to the specs in Clarks Garage.
