Gold wheels?
My '83 is Pasadena Yellow, an old 924 color which I love. Looking thru some old lists somewhere a long time ago, I remember seeing an option for gold wheels. May have actually been gold anodized wheels.
Has anyone ever seen these? I wonder if they were really anodized or painted? I think they would look good with the yellow (mine are black Fuchs with polished aluminum rims now). Or, they may make it look like a pimpmobile
Just wondering ...

I am looking at 944's to make sure I should get one. I just went and looked at a silver '84 which had gold wire-spoke-looking wheels. They have a silver rim like the fuchs. Kind of muscley and snazzy. Heres a picture. I can picture them to look nice on and complementing a yellow car.

Do they look like this?
I hated the gold so I replainted them flat black with a spray can. Seems to have worked as they are still black.
Used them as track wheels for while. Now they are on my 83 autocross car. I can't use them on spec car since they are not "Spec Legal". That pic is from my First PCA Club Race

Those look like the BBS wheels my son had on his Saab. The gold-anodized option was on the Fuchs-style wheel (like those in the picture to the left).
