Would it be possible to replace the 968's pop-up style headlights with 993 headlights ?

If they would even fit, would the "angle" be workable, or would the lights point up in the air ?

I know that the pop-up lights are one of the least favorite 968 features.

 

Somebody had gone into this.
It was either the 993 lights or the boxster lights (I can't recall).
They decided that the angle was too sharp, and that if you lined them up, they would aim in the air, and if you didn't, they would look a little goofy.
Perhaps somebody has invented some kind of kit that would drop in, with the correct angle?
Although perhaps this thread belongs in the 968 forum?

I hope that information is useful in some way.

I think the bug eye lights look kind of neat, but I think the novelty would wear off after a while. That's the only thing I don't like about the 968.

 

I had no idea the 968 headlights were unpopular. I love the 968 front end, looks like a baby 928.

 

i think he means what the lights look like when are popped up. he wants a fixed fixture like that found on a 911.

 

anything is possible, just the matter of money to burn... Your best bet would be most likely Strosek projector type design... I seem to recall that this has been done while ago but I would not bother... unless you are uncomfortable being mistaken for 928, LOL...
