Door handle trigger broke, bought a trigger replacement kit along with the actuator arm replaced. However on all the tutorials on door handle installation I have found none have shown this piece with a wire attached nor how to correctly reinstall it.
When I removed the door handle it was attached to it with a smaller bracket held on by a small screw. I have attached pictures of the piece with the wire and where it attached to. Does this piece have to be installed or aligned a certain way or can I just pop it back on the door handle?
I also seem to be getting conflicting information regarding door handle installation, some articles say it can be done without removing the glass and the guides on the late model cars and some say it can’t, which is correct? Thanks
