Default Clutch return issue

Did a search and found several threads about clutch pedals not returning but none mentioned what I have. Occasionally pedal does not return and I use my foot to pull it back up. However I found if I get to about 4000 RPMS and suddenly back off the throttle the clutch pedal goes down by itself. It doesn't disengage clutch just goes down. Any ideas or anyone have a similar issue?

If your clutch pedal is moving but the clutch itself is not disengaging, then you've got an issue somewhere between the pedal and the clutch slave cylinder. Either low fluid, air in the system or a bad cylinder.

I'd start with bleeding the line and hope it fixes it, but plan on replacing the slave cylinder.

Bleed the clutch line using this: Motive Products Brake System Power Bleeder. I replaced both the Master and the Slave cylinders and the blue hose at the Brake Master cylinder after installing a new clutch.

Also insure that no fluid is leaking into the Brake Booster.
