I found a receipt from the local dealer Vasek Polak for a timing belt and ball joints done at 80k miles in 1991. The car currently has 89k miles but has been off the road since 1998.

Does it have a Vasek Polak license plate frame on it?

Got it up in the air today. Very good frame rails and the exhaust looks very good which is rare.

Neat car!
Mark, I love your sympathetic 'mantling' of the early ones. Warms my heart.

Guy, good choice on the vintage frame.

Yeah, good bones is right. I can't tell you how much effort it takes to sort a sordid mile steel early exhaust.

The exhaust seems like it has never touched moisture. Mine is currently rotting by the side of the shed from my '78 #413.

Ok, I'll bite. Have you figured out a price for it? You can PM me if you like. Not sure I need 6 but I keep telling my boy that you can never have too many Porsches.

Hadn't noticed that the tonneau cover was still with it. And the plug wire brackets are all still where they belong. Depending on how it cleans up (and how those stupid rub strips come off...) this looks like it'd be a good preservation class car. Need to come see it in person!

Stuff on the sides is Pep Boiz tape-on trim. Think "nylon fishing line" in a short handle to saw through it. A little heat won't hurt. Then any glue/tape left over will come off with some careful hand work.

Go ahead Rob. This one's calling to you! It knows you know what it needs. A little Turtle Wax and it will be a show winner!
