Default Did early 928's ever come with leather dashboard?

Hi, quick question to which I wasn't able to find an answer: was real leather dashboard ever a factory option on a '79 (Euro) 928?

A friend of mine just found a '79 928 for sale at an official Porsche Zentrum in Germany. It features cork interior which is supposedly full leather. See pics here:

Is this original/factory correct? Thx.

Link isnt working for me but in general, yes. Leather was a popular option. In fact it was very common on the later cars in the US.

It was common, so much so that when the leather commonly warped sitting on the lot when they were new my mechanic got to the point where he could change it in 4 hours

Guys, here's a follow-up question. Have the leather seats been always perforated leather or was there an option to have smooth, non-perforated leather? The car in question has non-perforated seats and we are unsure if this is original.

^^ Piping is missing on the tops of those seats so they have been redone at some point.

There was an option (code 980?) from Porsche on later cars at least called "Supple Leather". Those seats had non perforated leather.
Would love to have that option on my car but unfortunately it has the regular perforated leather.

My 83 Euro has full leather ("Leather to sample") interior, and all is plain, unperforated. Even the horn push is leather covered.

M980 Supple Leather was available as standard option starting from '88. Anything before that would have to come from Exclusive department.
