Pics of how the dead pedal mounts in a RHD 928?
Random request, I know- am looking for pics of how the dead pedal mounts (and to what extent it's adjustable) in a right-hand drive market car.

The dead pedal has a fixing hole at the bottom, with the bolt going through the hole into the threaded hole in the bracket closest to the floor. That's the point which is fixed.
To fit it, the pedal top pin is pushed into one of the top pin holes first, then the side (threaded) pin is located in the corresponding side pin hole next, and then the bottom is secured.
The pin holes closest to the bulkhead will angle the dead pedal hard against the bulkhead (which was where mine was fitted as standard - and suits me), and the two holes closest the the driver will give a slightly more upright position.
Labelled pics hopefully are self explanatory. If you need any more pics, measurements or info let me know.
Hopefully I've snapped enough for the acknowledged and undisputed grand poobah of pitchers

Excellent, thanks for the pics of the bracketry, very helpful!
It amazes me that 22 years out of production these are still sitting around on a shelf somewhere at Porsche. Even more so that there's one with my name on it, as if I were destined to buy it.

I hadn't noticed the three holes at the bottom, because on mine they're obscured by carpet.
I haven't tried alternative angles, but mine is fixed at the bottom through the centre hole. I'm thinking that one of the other holes might be used for the bottom fixing when the pedal is more vertically fitted.
BTW ... even though the side pin is threaded, it's only used as a locator pin; and couldn't be fitted with a nut behind the bracket, because it's inaccessible, being surrounded by glued-on carpet.
OK ... now ... watcha up to?

My passengers need an 'Oh S***' phantom pedal to push on. Not sure if it'll work with a CE panel in the way, and wanted to see the implementation in a car so fitted. It was only $28, so no biggie if it doesn't.

That is just too funny!!!! Not only is Rob always super helpful, but he's also got a great sense of humor. ;-)

Seems you don't have a solid mount point due to the ECU cover - which is a bit flimsy. You could perhaps make a much stronger ECU cover with the dead pedal integrated.
OR maybe a 4 point harness OR VR goggles with a soothing scene OR alternatively just a different passenger...
