Got my tow hook bung drilled out and eye fitted this week. The eternal optimist. She's ready to roll, albeit a bit dirty. Should be there early afternoon.
p.s. bringing a salad - they seemed under represented on the list.
The Demons of Hell have spoken, early evening on a shake out drive after wiring up gauges into the cockpit and Installing new Air-filter with some fresh air.
On my way back 1/2 block from home, smoke from under the hood, grabbed Fire extinguisher, pulled into my driveway, popped the hood, No fire, thank God!

Coolant all over the place, it was smoking on the Headers!
It was a cool evening temp was at 180 deg F, looks like I'll be driving the N2O Blue '85, I'm bummed, but hey better in my driveway than in HELL!!!!
Sorry, not many pictures...to busy flapping my gums.
Old red ran like a brand new car, 200 miles round trip, and completed the journey in fine fashion.
Big Thank you to Mark and family (for their gracious hostiblity), sponsors (for donating raffle gifts) and those that coordinate this event. Plenty of great food and 928 conversation. Weather couldn't be better, somewhat surprising for hell. Looking forward to next year already.
