looking to remove and replace the climate controller's 2 slider ***** without breaking anything

 

remove the center vent pull towards the back of the car.
slide the H trim up about 1/4 of an inch then remove.
remove the 6 screws holding the HVAC and AC switch panel remove them as a unit (use a magnet to capture the screws or they will be lost)

Disconnect the HVAC unit connectors remove the screws then gently pry open the case covers,
the sliders are a one time fit,
and should come with new metal flex sliders.
