Moving along, I ordered new transistors and had a pro replace the old ones with fresh ones. The new soldering looks factory, with correct transistor types in correct places.

Reseated the setting motor and hooked up the control unit/sensor in the center console and turned ignition on.

Now - When I move the heat regulator slider all the way left to "coldest" setting, the motor now moves the arm all the way to the other end, pointing away from the center of the setting motor unit, opposed to where it has been "stuck" the other way(yeey, at least I have motor movement again). As soon as I move the control slider a little bit to the right of the "coldest" setting, the motor starts to move back all the way to the position that it was locked in before (which only gave cold air, which again is a bit confusing in regards to what now happens. Would have thought the opposite). Now, whatever position the slider is in, except "coldest", the motor does not move at all, it stays pointing the arm towards center of setting motor.

I might have forgot to connect something that plays along in this system(I have dash out at the moment) but I think I have it all connected..

Any Ideas?
