Default Is this the clicking sound of a bad LH?

I'm troubleshooting my 1987 Porsche 928 that won't start and believe I have a bad LH. The fuel pump will not energize unless I jumper pin 30 and 87 (tried a new relay too). I have spark and compression, just no fuel. Below is a video of when I first turn the ignition on (no start), you can hear a clicking sound that lasts for about two seconds. I'm told that when a LH starts to fail you will hear a clicking sound with the ignition on. Is this the clicking sound everyone is talking about? If it is a LH, can anyone recommend a place of where I can get it rebuilt.

NOTE safe to say any clicking in the engine compartment from the injectors before the engine is running is cause for a computer refresh

At the 1-2 and 8-9 second mark is the "click click". I cycle the ignition twice during the video.

Possibly. I hear one click of the injectors each time you turn on the ignition.

One failure mode the LH is that it grounds the injectors (i.e. opens them) continuously upon igntion-on. If this mode is not also accompanied by the failure mode of not energizing the fuel pump, it will fill the cylinders with fuel and hydrolock the engine.

Louie Ott, my partner in the USA will test your LH. If it has failed he can provide one of my exchange rebuilt LH units. His details are in my signature.

I recommend that you send your LH to Rich Andrade, Electronik Repair, Inc. in Mesa AZ.

When the LH fails, do the injectors continue to click until the ignition is switched off? When I turn the ignition switch to the on position, I hear a click click and then it's silent.

Not always continuous... sometimes not at all. Get someone to listen under the hood while you switch on, to confirm it is the injectors.

So uncool, Jerry. No problem offering an alternative, but to counter-post directly under the man -- this is uncool.

Thanks for the feedback everyone! I'm going to do a little more testing before concluding the LH is bad.

Not a good option, while they let the car run, I have had zero luck with his rebuilds due to not being able to read codes or modules with the Hammer. I will not install anything but JDS Porsche's LH rebuilds.

Yes, but it wasn't there when I started my post, then I had to spend several minutes looking for Rich's contact information. After I posted was when I first saw the other prior post.
