Default Identify this wiring- console area

Can the members give me a lazy way out answer while I am away from my wiring diagrams. This black and blue wire sits behind my center console. I know that these colors are used for lights or the washer system. Anyone identify this connector on my 79 ? Thanks !

Black/Blue is always for illumination. If in your center console area will be for either:
HVAC head
Clock
Cig lighter

thank you. The clock, lighter and a/c head are all lit. I wonder if this was the light in an auto shifter indicator ? My car is a 5spd which may explain why it is unused.

Hmmm..
Never heard of illumination to the auto shifter panel, but I more familiar with the S4's where they're not lit.

That is what it is used for in my 81, which is an auto. You can leave it disconnected. It wont harm anything.

Didn't know early cars had light there.
