My 87 was more reliable than the 89 I now own. I figure the 87 got better care than the 89, by the PO's. I got 3 times as much into the 89 also, and got a long way to go yet.
I agree with ya on that. '89's are more rare but that doesn't make them better.

Christmas in August.
Thank you Don for doing the leg work on this and notifying us!
Also thanks again to Roger for saving the day after my local dealership proved once again there is no limit to how far up someones *** their head can go.

Eric,
Don't open it. Roger called and he accidently sent you my transmission. Just tell me where I need to send the call tag to get it picked up and I can make this all right.
Thank you for understanding.

IIRC 89 trans is not 2.2, AT is 2.64 and stick is 2.54; this is from memory so no guarantees

I guess I am not seeing very high odds of this happening at this point since you've already got it unloaded.

LMAO

Lorelei struggled a bit to wrestle it out of the truck as I supervised. Having her load it back in shouldn't be too much trouble..

Julie had some trouble getting our tranny to higher ground but in the end, it was high and dry. I was near by doing important flood stuff.

You know, both of our women know how to use a firearm, it's amazing we don't have more holes in us.

Has anyone installed one of the new 89 transmissions yet? If so, how's it working out? Any tips on the install?

Mine is still in the crate but I hope to get it installed in the next few weeks.
