Read up on the threads about doing a power steering flush. Most mentioned changing the power steering reservoir/filter at the same time. Is this something that should be done based on mileage or time?
A rebuilt power steering rack was recently put on, but it still has the original reservoir/filter.
Thanks!

It would be really useful if you listed the year and model of your 928.
There is an early and a late PS reservoir. The filter can be changed in the early but the later you replace the complete reservoir.
They should be changed every time you do major work to the PS system.

Does it have the "Do It Yourself" manual transmission, or the superior "Fully Equipped by Porsche" Automatic Transmission?
