Sensor Next To CPS
Guys,
What is the sensor that bolts into the bellhousing next to the CPS? It's also black and sort of round. And what, if any, effect would it have if the plug wasn't connected and actually left dangling on the exhaust to melt away. 86.5.
Cheers
Scott

Yep like Roger says, no longer used, I think it was for testing, just remove it, and plug or make a cover for the bell housing hole
Edit: if you want to keep it the plug end (male connector) bolts to the top at the rear of the intake

It's a legacy of the early tie ups between VW/Audi and Porsche. I understand a piece of VW/Audi test equipment was used with it, but I'm never heard of one being seen in captivity...
