Two of mine are named in the first post of that thread--^

GLP (Gray Little Porsche)
DDG (Dirty, Dirty Girl)

Stephanie, the other woman as my mom refers to the 81 as.

The S4 I call either the S4 or the 89. Don't have too much of an attachment to that one.

My 90GT is known to most as The Velvet Hammer. However, to my wife and me, her name is "Greta". I had given her that name prior to finding out the previous owner's first name on the title was ... Greta. Must have been meant to be. 👍

I hope to have a GTS someday and have long had a named picked out. A famous German female is all I will say. 😉

My brother in law dubbed it Portia De Rossi, PDR for short. The car is a little curvier.

I used to always refer to the cars by the year and or color, depending on who I am talking with. Then I got married to someone who is unimpressed with the distinction of one year over another and I had multiples of black at that time. Then they all needed names. The project car, the parts car, the Pyrtle, Betty, the Euro and now the Fuller 82. (Since 2013)

Sounds pretty goofy, but I name all of mine.
928s name is "Fro" or fraulien
82 fj40 name is "Chunk"
69 fj40 name is "Edge"
then there's "Lexi" the lx450
"Oink" my Toyota runner rockcrawler
"Blue" the sugar house Chevy
and "Ferdi" the Mercedes sprinter

Have many names when I have lost my knuckles, broken a bolt or broken another piece of wiring or plastic.
Sometimes "Fat bottom girl".

"Yeti". It is white, but only very few people have seen it in person

The 1989 CS was "Titine", and I have no clue how to translate it in English
