this would be with the car already on the lift and the battery disconnected and the fender covers installed about 3 hours , give or take

quick update - got parts back from john , rebuilt maf and fixed LH as it had a wierd GT idle eprom thing in it - now checks out 100% , refitting this weekend so will let yous know how it goes ! ( and new maf connector as existing has exposed wires !)

Well new connector I and rebuilt maf plus lh with correct chip and guess what she fired right up !! Result 😁😁 she seems to drive great only been for a short run tonight only minor thing is idle seems a tad low at near first mark when in gear ? And near 2nd mark in park

the system has to adapt,
it could take 20 miles.
Make sure to do a few full throttle runs,
no need to get to the full RPM

got a good few miles on her now but no difference i idle issues :-( did wd40 - seems bit better in the morning having sat overnight but then after 5mins back to old idle maybe just warming up
gonna check switch at LH next and maybe try o2 disconect ?

ok idle switch at LH functioning correctly - closed then open cct when pedal pressed
O2 sensor disconnected - no difference
dosed with WD40 again overnight - no difference
any other ideas ? :-) sure wish these cars had an old skool idle adjustment screw !

OK so now your up to the point that you need an intake refresh ,(based on your engine pictures),
do that then run the engine.
