One major hint is to use the digital camera and store a photo of EVERYTHING at every step.
The usual advice to use labeled ziplock bags to store the fasteners and MSP (Misc Small Parts) from each step is good.
Take the ground strap off and tie a note to it reading "FLYWHEEL LOCK!).
Good jackstands are valuable. After getting the flywheel lock on, get the car supported at a height that is both comfortable to work on and just high enough to reach under to get bolts near the bottom.
Tap on the pump bolts if they seem hard to move.
Take your time, and be VERY careful with solvents and fumes inside.

Brendan,
What bearings below the crank are you refering too? Is Locktite on the WP bolts prefered? I was thinking copper antiseize, since the manual doesn't say to use Locktite. I've just heard too many people with broken bolt nightmares.

Tony's "175 steps" is very good. with pics and all.
Thermostat, seals, and use the proper coolant when your done.
Take time to clean, clean, clean. WYIT.
Read about properly rebuilding and refilling the tensioner so as to not blow off the boot or create a gasket leak. Do a search.
Don't get fooled by the size of the head on the shoulder bolt. It's often over-torqued and broken.
"Patience, grasshopper" if anything confuses you or causes hesitation, stop, hop on rennlist and ask. (I have a networked laptop in the garage primarily for that reason!)
Good luck
Greg

In case you missed the post on the other thread check pics 29 to 31 for the sprockets, and 33 to 35 for the belt.
