Throttle Body Gasket Orientation

Throttle Body Gasket Orientation
Gaskets have rubber strip on one side only, should this be throttle body or plenum side.
Thanks
PS I could copy what I did last time, but there's no guarantee I got it right 14 years ago

Hi,
I can't remember the orientation when I resealed my engine, but I would put the rubber strip side against the throttle body since there is more chance for deflexion from the throttle body when torqueing those bolts then there is from the intake manifold.
Good luck
Sylvain

Many thanks guys, much appreciated.
While I was disassembling, I manage to break one of the now very brittle hard black plastic vacuum lines (4x1mm) that you can see in the pics.
I asked my local Porsche Centre to supply a couple of metres so I could change it all, then changed my mind when they quoted the equivalent of over $200.
Fortunately Roger sells it at a fraction of the cost, sadly too late for me to purchase for this job though. So my advice is get some ready in case you need it.
