Got a deposit, so I think it is SOLD! Didn't get what I thought it is worth, but I'm happy nonetheless.

By definition it sold for market value any one who thinks it was too cheap should have been bidding.

You couldn't reproduce that car for less than it sold for so I would have to agree that it was a steal. Market value, but a steal none-the-less...

If I had room for it I would have bid. Hope it goes to an owner that doesn't blow it up. Again.

Jim - what's the story with the Astin? Do you still have the very old brown?

It's going to Dallas Texas. No one you probably know.

Jim is right that it sold for exactly market value on the day it sold. I'm okay with it. Time to show my GT some love!

Dang. Just watched the videos on this car. Looks like a ton of fun. Hopefully the new owner will stretch it's legs on highway 130. I drove that stretch in a rental car and it was terrifying in car with no nuts. You need to do 100 MPH just to keep up with the flow!

I can think of someone. Glad it sold for you. Always liked that car. Not the time or place for me to get another though.

FYI..flew on the whale from LAX to DTW last night
with my son...last one to leave LAX. had to do it. Got home a few hours ago

Should have called! I would have totally picked you and your son up or bought you a beer at least. Maybe you didn't have time. Next time.

Wife is in ATL training on the "Whale's" replacement - A350.
