First glance I really liked the cover artwork, but now it's bothering me because the front corner is incorrect (for either original or late body).

The horizontal break line along the side of the car is supposed to end at the top surface of the front bumper cover.
The artist depicts it much lower, ending at a near-vertical edge that isn't actually there.
Simplified, the front corner is supposed to be a triangle, not a trapezoid.

 

OK Jim, and it's missing the washer nozzle too .. LOL

Jim - the cover picture is actually a clipped segment of one of the earlier prototype renderings when the 928 was first being designed. I recognized the artwork, and the whole picture can be found in issue 1 of 000, which issue has a very extensive historical write up of the 928, and includes many artists design renderings of prototypes that never made it to final form. Good eye on that front corner.

 

May 2017 issue is online now....

 

OK... who's gonna have some 928 40 stickers made? I have the 911/50 sticker on my 911. Something with a bit of Pascha would be perfect.
