928 PPI in/near Springfield MO?
Title says it all.
Do "we" know a person or shop, in or near Springfield MO, with enough real 928-savvy to do a thorough PPI on a high-dollar (asking price) 928 and deterime if it's "worth" it?
TIA

If the high dollar car is at Wilhoits shop in Springfield I would expect him to give all the PPI information about the car. They do a pretty thorough inspection and definitely know the 928.
Mo Zahr in Wichita is probably the closest 928 expert that I'm aware of near Springfield and that's 4 hrs away. Hopefully there is someone in KC that can be recommended.
Whether it's "worth" it or not is a matter between buyer and seller but Wilhoit does have a pretty solid reputation that if car isn't as represented you can walk away.
Good luck!

Sounds like a Wilhoit car? Brian Thomas at Rennsport in Tulsa (918) 663-2906 has good attention to detail, Porsche owner (968), but he does not work on a lot of 928's. Depends what you are looking for out of the PPI. Might be worth calling him to talk about. Real 928-savvy people are probably half a dozen in the whole country?

Note, that this does not imply that his customers are not happy with their purchases.
