I am reinstalling my manual heater control on my 1980 US (it has not been installed since I have had the car). I have found lots of information of the OBs and automatic systems, but have found a gap in the early 80s manuals. I have single electric solenoid, but have no idea what it is suppose to connect to. I also have a micro switch on the top slider control. I what does the solenoid operate and what is the micro switch for?
