HVAC Blower Problem
Over the last few days my HVAC blower has started to act strange. When first turned on it works fine but then quickly winds down to zero. Usually in about 30 seconds when it's hot out, runs longer in the morning when cooler outside temps prevail.
I can hot wire the motor and it runs continuously but the wires do start to get hot.
Pretty sure the motor needs to be replaced.
The odd part is that the motor is getting full voltage in all blower switch positions. Slider is in the ECON position. I may be in "magic fan" mode but don't think so.
Any ideas?

Now back to the question at hand.
Your blower is on the way out. It is causing the coils in the blower pack to heat up and shut the motor down to keep it from overheating due to excess current draw.
So now you know that that is working properly
