Default Cracked Head Odd Location

84 5-Speed
Chasing a random Coolant smell and slow disappearing of level on overflow tank. Car started to have a misfire and thought it might be a head gasket issue so pulled the plugs. I found number 8 wire covered in Coolant which was odd considering plug was in tight. After cleaning off the residue and pressure testing seems there is a crack on the head.
The crack is almost invisible but under 13lbs of pressure it starts to weep into the spark plug hole for about 1/2 inch down and on the top of the head. Originally I thought it was coming from the block off plate and overflowed into the plug but after testing a crack is the culprit.

This before car has no history so maybe an overheat causing blown head gasket and PO never addressed the head. Curious if anyone else has had this happen.
